Community Involvement

Wood shop workerOur Employees

At Rodgers we are honored to have a talented and dedicated workforce, many of whom have honed their organbuilding skills here for decades (the average length of service is well over 10 years). Church music is part of our lives, not just our nine-to-five routine. A significant percentage of us are working church musicians, volunteer choir members, or other worship leaders in churches around our home base in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Part of the Community

As one of Hillsboro's first technology companies, we are proud to be a member of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce as well as a longtime supporter of the annual Oregon International Air Show at the next-door Hillsboro Airport. A number of us volunteer in local civic organizations and help support the development of future community leaders.

Organ scholarship studentsSupport for Organ Education

Since 2004, we have provided scholarships, faculty and instruments for an intensive summer organ study program for teen-age musicians at the highly respected International Music Camp on the North Dakota-Canadian border. Interested in the program for a music student who you know? Please send an email to marketing@rodgers.rain.com.

Where is Hillsboro, Oregon?

Hillsboro is located in a sheltered Western Oregon valley, north of fertile vineyards and just west of Portland's urban center. Originally a pioneer settlement, the town grew up to become a diverse and progressive city that is one of Oregon's top centers of high technology. Churches built in the 1800s stand within a few miles of the modern campuses of companies such as Intel Corporation, Planar Systems and FEI. The blending of past and future makes Hillsboro an appropriate home for Rodgers, where digital sound innovation, time-honored woodcraft and centuries of organ-building tradition come together in harmony.
