The increasing quality of digital samples (pipe and orchestral) has opened the door for high-level applications in both "traditional" and contemporary environments. This event will focus on the extension of registration concepts based on these sounds from Rodgers. This will be an accessible, fun, and informative presentation.

Toledo Chapter of the American Guild of Organists presents:
Of Thee I Sing! A Patriotic Musical Celebration
The event will showcase many talented musicians including: The Academy Brass Quintet, Toledo Firefighters Bagpipes and eight Toledo-area church organists all playing popular partiotic selections. St Patrick's 4-manual RODGERS pipe-combination organ is one of the premiere instruments in the Toledo area and the church's spectacular acoustics are perfect for this very special musical event. Emcee for the concert will be Jim Tichy, from Honor Flight. All proceeds from the free-will offering will go directly to Honor Flight NW Ohio. Honor Flight is a non-profit organizaation created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. They transport our heroes (at no-charge) to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials.

Dr. Stanleigh Jones, performs the FIRST Organ recital EVER at this large African-American Pentecostal Church on Chicago's South Side. Founded by Bishop Arthur Brazier in 1960, the church has grown immensely to several thousand members.
Dr. Jones, Principal Organist of Apostolic Church of God, assisted in the design of the 159-stop Rodgers 968 which was installed in 2007. Dr Jones is a graduate of Andrews & Northwestern Universities.
The church is located at: 63rd & Dorchester (Near the University of Chicago Campus)
Their worship service is broadcast every Sunday Morning at 8AM on WCIU-TV (channel 26).
