Congratulations to West Houston Seventh-Day Adventist Church!

TESTIMONIAL LETTER

Dear Jason (Church Organ Solutions),

It is with a profound sense of gratitude that I write this letter.

As you know, the West Houston Seventh-day Adventist Church was suddenly without our Rodgers organ due to a lightning strike. Imperative was the need to replace this organ and quickly. You and your colleagues demonstrated a sense of integrity, which quickly allayed any anxiety. Particular to us was your sense of our church, its acoustics, manner of worship and organ placement.

Since our present organ was a Rodgers and had been maintained by your organ technicians, we looked to you for advice. I did, however, obtain demonstrations of other organs. It was upon demonstration of the Rodgers Artist Series 599, the crescendo from piano to a soaring impressive buildup of majestic, electrifying, and essence of pipe sound that begged our decision. We would install this organ to sound to the glory of God in our church.

I cannot close without commenting on our experience during and after installation. Your sense of professionalism, knowledge, skill and attention to detail under a dedicated timeline for installation, made for a very pleasant experience. It was a joy for me to work with such a talented and dedicated professional.

Thank you on behalf of our church congregation.

Judith E. Bates

Minister of Music

CHOOSING RODGERS

“We had a lightning strike about a year ago and it absolutely decimated the organ, so finding an organ was extremely important as liturgical music is a vital part of our worship. I had a great relationship with Jason (Church Organ Solutions), and he already knew our church. Since Jason had recently installed a new Rodgers Artist Series 599 organ in a church that was structurally similar to ours, he recommended that I accompany him for a demonstration in which organist Jim Connors would play for us. The Rodgers Artist Series 599 organ was the perfect for our church.

Jason Rodgers took care of every detail, was meticulous about the voicing, and whose expertise and care, I feel positively contributed to the overall decision. It was an exquisite and special musical moment when Jim Connors played our Organ Dedication; it completely validated the decision.”

MUSIC AT WEST HOUSTON SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURC

"Music is very important at West Houston Seventh-Day Adventist Church, there is a lot of talent because it is such a diverse church.  Music committee is made up of representatives from all different background and nationalities; including African, Indian, Caribbean, and a very strong western music influence."

Celebrating diversity

“Not only are we multicultural, we are global. Our west-Houston-based congregation is part of a 17 million ethnically diverse world church, located in nearly every country around the globe. Demographically speaking, West Houston church truly resembles heaven in that it is comprised of a plethora of ethnicities from all walks of life, economic backgrounds and spiritual gifts. In fact, our anointed British senior pastor, Ashwin Somasundram, has an Indian ethnic background with a South African heritage!

Our view of multicultural ministry recognizes and respects the inclusion of all diverse groups. If you happen to walk into our Sabbath school bible study on Saturday mornings, you will see and hear a variety of accents and notice different hues of believers teaching and discussing the word of God.”

Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him."
