Dear Mr. Saied,

On behalf of myself and the Olive Branch Baptist Organ Committee we wish to express our thanks to you and let you know of our complete satisfaction with our purchase of the Rogers Model 958 Trillium Masterpiece II Organ.  The organ has met the needs of our church and the process of purchase and installation went exceptionally well.

Besides the Rodgers Company producing such an outstanding instrument, I would be remiss if I did not give credit to Saied Music and your representatives, David Pettit and Mike Bennett as the contributing factors in our decision.

Based on past experiences the organ committee and I had pretty much decided on another company, giving little consideration to a Rodgers. Then David Pettit contacted me, having learned of our search for a new organ from technician John Birdsong.  I took his calls and listened to his presentation, then just basically ignored him.  However, David was the proverbial "squeaky wheel" insisting that we meet with him and Mike so they could demonstrate the Rodgers organs.  I agreed, so they made the trip to Pine Bluff and we spent an evening in the Hot Springs area seeing and hearing three different organs. The quality of the Rodgers organ, along with the knowledge, expertise and genuine concern for the needs of our church by David and Mike convinced us immediately to change our purchase plans.  Bids were given, our choice was made and the organ was ordered.

The only concern we encountered was the placement of speakers. What David and Mike wanted to do and what the church was going to allow were not in agreement.  I asked Mike about the surface mounted speakers.  While he said that was an option, I could tell he was not really pleased with that option, being concerned both about the appearance and sound.  However, I kept hearing David tell me, "the higher the better."  So I decided on the surface mount speakers and sent a sketch of the placement to Mike.  While he was still somewhat displeased with the placement, the date for the installation was set. To climax the story, my speaker placement was a great success. Not only did it look well in our sanctuary, but according to David and Mike the placement and sound was better than what they originally wanted to do.

Rodgers makes an excellent instrument of quality and craftsmanship. The team of David Pettit and Mike Bennett possess the same qualities as the instruments they sell and install.  Had it not been for David and Mike , this purchase would never have happened. Thank you again for making our choice and purchase of the Rodgers organ a success.
