Mary Our Queen Catholic Church was started as a mission church in 1994 with 70 registered families. Currently, there are 900 registered families. The ministries of this vibrant church have also grown under the leadership of Father David Dye, pastor. About one year ago, Father Dye brought in two of the most outstanding musicians in the Archdiocese of Atlanta to Mary Our Queen, Linda Morgan and Margaret Guerrein. Linda has served the Catholic church in the Atlanta area for many years and is in demand as a choral conductor and soloist. Margaret Guerrein, organist, has worked with Ms. Morgan for many years. Together, they have taken the music program at Mary Our Queen to a high level of excellence. In one year, the adult choir has grown from less than 10 members to almost 40.

The organ in the sanctuary had served the church for ten years, but was no longer adequate to support the current music program. Linda and Margaret had been instrumental in acquiring a new Rodgers organ when they served St. Andrew Catholic Church in Roswell, Georgia. They had been so pleased with that organ, that they determined that Mary Our Queen would also have a new Rodgers organ.
In addition to Chapel Music Company providing a new Rodgers organ for an in-church demo, Linda, Margaret, and Father Dye visited the Chapel Music Company studio and a recent installation in a local church to determine which Rodgers organ would meet their needs.

Since Mary Our Queen will be building a new sanctuary within the next five years, it was important that the organ selected could be installed in the new church and have the capability of playing windblown pipes. They selected the Rodgers Trillium Masterpiece 928, equipped with the MX-200 sound module.
