A shining example of Rodgers' ability to successfully replace a pipe organ console and expand the previously existing instrument's tonal specification is the Cathedral of Saint Mary in the Archdiocese of Miami, Florida.

The Cathedral's balcony is home to a Moller pipe organ of 50 ranks. In 1999, diocean music leaders welcomed the completion of the Rodgers renovation and expansion of that pipe organ. The massive new 4-manual organ boasts 122 stops across 9 divisions, including a Cantoral division located in the dome above the altar, and 3 chapel divisions. The instrument was chosen by Hector Olivera for the recording of his album "Franckly Speaking... the masterworks of Cesar Franck."
