Grace Lutheran Church - Pensacola
Florida, USA

In 2004, Hurricane Ivan caused massive destruction to the panhandle of Florida and immense damage to Grace Lutheran Church in Pensacola. As the church's roof collapsed, rain poured into the sanctuary destroying all of the furnishings. For years, the congregation has wanted to replace its older Rodgers organ which had been completely ruined in the Hurricane. Upon beginning a new construction project, they decided to make the organ a priority and chose another Rodgers organ with Parallel Digital Imaging to support both their traditional and contemporary worship services.Working with Tadlock and Associates area manager Bob Hupka, the church chose a Rodgers two-manual organ, the digital equivalent of 144 ranks of actual wind-blown pipes with four independent sets of voices: American Classic, French, English and German. In addition, the organ features 20 internal memory levels, USB memory storage, six levels of MIDI implementation, 50 orchestral sounds, built-in record/playback sequencer, Rodgers renowned heavy-duty keyboards, together with premium lighted drawknobs, all together in a handsome oak console. The organ console is located on the main floor in the front of the sanctuary and the audio system is located is located in the rear of the balcony, high above the congregation. For information on Rodgers Organs throughout North Florida and Alabama, contact Tadlock and Associates Area Manager Bob Hupka at (251) 300-0991.
