Choral Evensong broadcast from St. Albans
Today being Ash Wednesday, the BBC has broadcast Choral Evensong from the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Albans, which can be heard over the web for the next seven days. St. Albans installed two Rodgers organs during the restoration of its treasured 1962 Harrison & Harrison pipe organ - a custom Trillium Masterpiece Series 928 three-manual organ in the Nave and a two-manual Trillium 807 in the Quire. Much of the one-hour Ash Wednesday service is sung unaccompanied, with the organ being played during the last 15 minutes or so.

Wonderful listening experience. Thanky for the link!!
I can't help wondering why they don't keep at least the 928 when the pipe organ's done. That would be an awesome arrangement... a great pipe organ + a great Rodgers in a remarkable acoustic.
