Located in historic Charles City county is the small town of Providence Forge, VA. One of the oldest churches in the area is Emmaus Baptist Church. Following guidelines created by local historic organizations, no speakers for the Rodgers Masterpiece organ could be located on a wall. The solution was to use the balcony where servants of parishioners formerly sat as an organ chamber. The exclusive bi-ampflication system developed by Rodgers using small manual speakers and independent subwoofers make this organ installation successful in a registered historic church.
