It's just been announced that Rodgers has again been chosen as the instrument to greet the arrival of Pope Benedict XVI, this time on his visit to New York. The organist from the Brooklyn Cathedral will play a Trillium Masterpiece Series 928 at both the welcome ceremony at JFK International and the farewell event on Sunday, also at JFK. This is the third time in 12 months that Rodgers has helped celebrate papal events, including huge outdoor Masses in Brazil and Austria.

Pope Benedict and Rodgers
Maybe it is important to say that during Pope Benedict's stay in Austria (Maria-Zell) there was a temporarily installation with a Rodgers Trillium.
nice regards

Pope Benedict
The Apostolic Nunciary (The Embassy for the Vatican) in Washington DC also chose a new Rodgers organ for installation in their chapel. The Nunciary is where Pope Benedict stayed during his visit to Washington. He held a private Mass there on the occasion of his birthday during his stay. I will post some pictures shortly.
