Pictured is William Sydnor, the organist at Florida Avenue Baptist Church. The church chose a new Rodgers organ to replace its failing pipe organ in time for Christmas of 2007. The organ then was reconfigured with a custom specification to maximize the organ's usage for traditional and gospel music. The organ includes a dedicated, floating processional division that plays from the back balcony. This organ was designed with silent, lighted drawknobs, touch-sensitive MIDI keys and an adjustable bench.
