Central Baptist Church-Norwich

After many years of dedicated service to Central Baptist Church in Norwich, CT, it was determined by David Warfield, Music Director and the church's organ committee that the 1923 Austin needed to be retired. A thorough search was then begun. After consulting with Marshall Ogletree Associates, Laura Jensen, representative, a unanimous decision was made to choose a new four-manual Rodgers Trillium Masterpiece 1038. It was installed in February of 2007 with a dedicatory service and inaugural recital on June 10. Dr. Gordon Turk was the featured organist. Since that time, Central Baptist Church has hosted a number of musical events, bringing new life to the church and to downtown Norwich.
