San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church of Switzerland, Florida experienced tremendous growth over the last decade due to St John’s County’s incredible population explosion. The church is located just west of St Augustine, Florida near the World Golf Village, home of the World Golf Hall of Fame.As the need for a larger sanctuary became apparent, the church began planning for one of the most beautiful houses of worship in Florida. When plans for the new building began, several parishioners mentioned moving the existing Rodgers two-manual digital organ to the new sanctuary. Father Ed Booth, the church's pastor, said the church was very happy with their Rodgers organ but knew a larger organ with the latest technology, more stops and expanded audio was in order for the much larger planned sanctuary.Father Booth consulted with Keith Hutson, Area Manager of Tadlock & Associates Church Organs, to select an organ that would completely support the church's music ministry. The selection of a Rodgers Trillium three-manual organ was made by Father Booth and installed prior to Christmas services in 2006. The organist, choir and church are delighted with their Rodgers Trillium organ as it inspires the congregation week after week, providing the finest array of pipe and orchestral sounds to support all musical literature.
