The prominent church's former organ was struck by lightning over two years ago and it had been without an organ since. The pastor called and said that the church had a donor who wished to give money for the purpose of obtaining a new organ. After the pastor, organist, music director and others on the committee compared the Rodgers Trillium Masterpiece Series Model 788 in a previous installation by Saied Music Company to a competitor's organ in another location, they voted unanamously to purchase the 788. They will be adding the Rodgers MX-200 MIDI sound module in the near future.
