The committee heard various organs before making their decision and in fact went as far as to have Rodgers and another major competitor place temporary installations in the church before choosing Rodgers. The reasons stated for choosing Rodgers included the fact that it SOUNDED better, that Saied Music Company took much more care to completely voice the instrument in detail to the room before the presentation, and the superior sound and flexibility of Rodgers' MIDI technology.
