Rodgers Instruments President Lloyd Robbins will retire at the end of 2008, and Vice President for Sales and Marketing Duane Kuhn has accepted appointment as executive vice president with responsibility for the company's day-to-day operations.
Ikutaro Kakehashi, Founder & Special Consultant of the Roland Corporation, who serves as Rodgers chairman, will assume the role of president upon Mr. Robbins' retirement.
"Lloyd has been part of the Rodgers organization for over 11 years. During that time, he has played a key role in the growth and development of the company and has been instrumental in bringing many positive changes and improvements to our operations," Mr. Kakehashi stated. "I want to thank Lloyd for his hard work and dedication and his many contributions to Rodgers."
Mr. Kuhn joined Rodgers in 2004 after serving in executive roles at Baldwin Piano and Organ Company and its Wurlitzer Division, and as president of Church Organ Systems. During his tenure at Rodgers, he has been influential in expanding the Trillium Masterpiece Series of highly customizable organs and strengthening support for Rodgers' international network of dealers and distributors.
Rodgers is the world's largest builder of stereo imaged church organs and pipe/digital organs. Rodgers is a member of the Roland Group, headed by Roland Corporation, a world leader in electronic musical instrument technologies and electronic musical instrument sales and manufacturing.
