St. Paul United Methodist Church is located in the Sedgefield area of Charlotte, NC. The church building was constructed in 1957 and included a two-manual analog electronic organ. When the aging organ became unreliable, three digital organ builder representatives were consulted to provide a suitable replacement instrument. A two-manual and pedal Rodgers specification was selected and approved for installation.

The acoustic challenges presented by the organ speaker chambers were solved with a custom audio system consisting of 26 individual speakers housed in 10 separate speaker cabinets.

The new organ was presented to the St. Paul congregation on the evening of December 2, 2009. The organ dedication service was followed by a program of Advent and Christmas music performed by John Acker.
