The Incomparable Hector Olivera gives a workshop on the fine art of setting registrations at the First Presbyterian Church in Bakersfield on an Austin/Rodgers Custom 4-Manual Masterpiece 1078 Pipe/Digital Combination Organ. Reservations are recommended. (At press time, there is no admission to attend this workshop.)

The Three Hills Arts Academy Society presents the Wildrose Chamber Choir & Academy Chamber Orchestra in a performance of "Requiem" by Gabriel Fauré.

The performance will feature the Roland C-330 Classic Organ in conjunction with the choirs and orchestra.

Eglise de St. Jean Evangeliste will present organist Philippe Belanger who will accompany the silent movie, Ben Hur. A Rodgers Insignia organ with MX-200 Organ Sound Expander will be used for this presentation.

Rodney's performance experience in orchestras, choirs and accompaniment of instrumentalists in a wide genre of styles combine to give him a unique understanding for midi and orchestral performance techniques of the organ. He was a presenter at both the 2000 and 2004 National Conventions of the American Guild of Organists on the topic of "MIDI and Orchestral Use of the Organ in WOrship" The Organ at Concordia Lutheran in St. Paul, MN. is a Rodgers 688 with 15 ranks of Cassavent pipes.

Rodney Barbour , featured on organ CD recordings for his unique ability and talent in concert will present a colorful program on the newly installed Rodgers 688 interfaced with 15 ranks of Cassavent pipes at Concordia Lutheran.

Dan Miller will present a MIDI workshop featuring the Rodgers MX-200 Sound Module for use in Heritage and Contemporary worship preferences. The workshop is offered without charge. Pre-registration is appreciated to ensure adequate workshop materials.
