Executive Vice President
Duane Kuhn
"I believe that the organ is the instrument ideally suited to bring forth a new song of praise from the congregation."
Duane (Dewey) Kuhn was appointed Executive Vice President of Rodgers at the beginning of 2009. He had served as Vice President for Sales & Marketing since 2004. Previously he held executive roles at Baldwin Piano & Organ Co., The Wurlitzer Co. and Church Organ Systems. He has been influential in expanding the Trillium Masterpiece Series of highly customizable organs and strengthening support for Rodgers' international network of dealers and distributors. Dewey considers our work to be primarily supporting music ministry by providing products that allow the support and leading of all styles of worship.
Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer
Tony Schmidt
"The things that impressed me the most when I first started at Rodgers and continues to impress me are its people and the quality of the product. I was amazed at how many young-looking people had over 20 years of service and by the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into producing each organ."
Tony Schmidt started at Rodgers in 1989 and rose through the ranks, becoming controller in 1996 and Vice President and CFO in 2008. He has public accounting experience and maintains a current CPA license. He also sings weekly in his church choir.
Vice President of Engineering
Tony Williams
"I believe the digital organ is a great instrumental vehicle for supporting worship, whether traditional or contemporary music is the road travelled. The development professionals at Rodgers work hard and smart to make Rodgers organs, in particular, the most versatile."
Tony Williams, who joined Rodgers in 1990, leads our product engineering and IT development operations. He has 30 years experience in electronic music product development, with positions at ARP Instruments, Fender Musical Instruments, Gulbransen, and Rodgers. He plays a Rodgers organ and sings in a contemporary music church almost every Sunday.
Vice President of Manufacturing
Richard Cardwell
"The most valuable thing in the factory is the people who build our products. It is amazing to see the dedication of skilled, highly experienced people in an environment where they know how much their work is valued."
Richard Cardwell started his Rodgers career in 1987, was promoted to head of the manufacturing division in 2005 and became Vice President of Manufacturing in January 2010. He's traveled to Japan to study Roland Corporation's efficient manufacturing techniques and has put into practice numerous initiatives at Rodgers to raise the level of quality, efficiency and safety. Meaningful innovations and environmental responsibility are among his key interests.
Credit Manager
Diane Snyder
"Music adds so much to life. The wonderful thing about working at Rodgers is that we can participate in creating a product that is very meaningful to many people."
Diane Snyder, who joined Rodgers in 1995 as Credit Manager, has over 30 years of commercial credit experience. At Rodgers, Diane particularly enjoys working to support Rodgers dealers and staff by creating finance programs for Rodgers dealers and churches. Diane has a degree in accounting, holds the CCE and CICP professional designations and is involved in a professional organization that supports continuing education for credit professionals.
Marketing Services Manager
Jennifer Brandlon
"Bach said the goal of music should be 'none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.' At Rodgers, I believe that motivation is behind everything we do."
Jennifer Brandlon began her career as a writer in San Francisco and spent more than 20 years in the communications field as a reporter, newspaper manager and magazine editor before becoming director of marketing at an investment research company. Since joining Rodgers in 2003, her primary role has become reaching out to customers through print and online media, events and promotions. Jennifer has had a lifelong involvement in sacred choral music.
Product Support Manager
Roy Hanson
"I was hooked from the first note I heard. Throughout my life, I have found the organ to be the ultimate instrument to create the most inspiring forms of musical expression."
As a trained organist, Roy Hanson started out as a staff artist for The Wurlitzer Co., advancing to senior management positions at Baldwin Piano & Organ Co. and Jordan Kitt's Music. Since 2006, he has worked to support both Rodgers dealers and owners through field training and product support materials. He's also the moderator of the Rodgers Community Forum.
Sales Manager
Rick Anderson
"Today’s Rodgers organ, with its astonishing musical versatility, is a unique tool for enhancing corporate worship. Experiencing the marked improvement in congregational singing when a new Rodgers goes in always amazes me."
Rick Anderson has been personally involved in the sale and installation of many of Rodgers most notable organ installations, including many hundreds of Rodgers organs with pipes. He has spent more than 25 years in various sales and marketing positions at Rodgers, in addition to working in retail organ sales selling and installing Rodgers organs on the West Coast, in American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.
U.S. Western Region Sales Manager
John Green
"Service playing is the most important thing I do as an organist. More than any other instrument, the organ has the unique ability to support singing because of sustained tones, creating moments that draw the congregation into worship."
As a Methodist minister’s son, John Powell Green was playing piano in church at the age of 5 and had become organist for his father’s congregation by age 13. His career as an organist now spans more than four decades, including organist and director of music positions in several major U.S. churches as well as workshop leader and performer worldwide. He’s been an important part of the Rodgers sales organization for more than 30 years.
U.S. South Eastern Region Sales Manager
Bruce Hindla
"I owe my success as a sales rep to assisting dealers with their daily concerns, and helping them understand the products they are selling and the customers they are serving. By helping dealers become experts on Rodgers organs, both they and the manufacturer will be successful."
Bruce Hindla took "pop" organ lessons as a child. When he grew older, he got into the music industry because of the exciting and growing home organ business of the 1970s. He started out in Wurlitzer retail stores, followed by other retail positions through 1988 and then 20 years in the wholesale side of the business for Baldwin Piano and Organ Co. and then his own company, Keyline Sales & Marketing Services. He joined Rodgers in March 2008.
