Rules of Conduct
By using the Rodgers Community Forum, you agree to accept and abide by the following:
- Discussions on the forum may include general musical topics but specific instrument discussions should be limited to Rodgers organs.
- You will show respect to other forum users in all your communications.
- The use of common courtesy should avoid any problems in the forum. However, unacceptable behavior can result in a temporary suspension or a permanent ban from the forum, at the discretion of the forum moderator. Ignoring a warning from the moderator may also lead to suspension. The Rodgers Community Forum prohibits:
- making personal attacks on any person or organization
- using insulting or demeaning language
- any communication that the moderator judges to be discriminatory, racist, or extremely offensive
- impersonating or attempting to impersonate another person
- violating the intellectual property rights of any person or organization
- the posting of deliberate misinformation
- advertisements unrelated to the forum's purpose
- We encourage the submission of material such as articles, stories, guides and other written material that might be found useful by the organist community. Authors of such material will retain their rights to the work; we reserve the right to publish such submissions unless the author requests otherwise.
- Unless you specifically request otherwise, you authorize Rodgers Instruments Corporation, without limitation, to use your postings and other submissions for any purpose we deem appropriate.
- You acknowledge that using the Rodgers Community Forum does not create any confidential, contractual or special relationship between Rodgers and you, other than the agreement entered into by your accepting these Rules of Conduct.
- Opinions expressed in the forum are not necessarily those of Rodgers Instruments Corporation. We are not responsible in any way for any injury, loss, or damage which occurs as a result of an opinion expressed or information provided by a forum user.
- We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor all content submitted to the Rodgers Community Forum. The forum moderator has the right and sole discretion to edit or remove any content deemed to be in violation of the provisions of the Rules of Conduct.
- We will keep information obtained from you as a forum user as part of our own private database and will use it according to the terms of the Rodgers Privacy Policy.
- You should be aware that any personally identifiable information that you post can be read, collected, or used by other visitors to our website, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for personally identifiable information that you choose to reveal in the forum.
