A Beautiful 3-Manual Infinity Series for Redeemer Lutheran Church in Williston, ND!

Rodgers Classic Organs of ND, SD, and northwestern MN recently installed a three-manual Rodgers Infinity 361 organ with Main and Antiphonal speakers in  Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Williston, ND replacing an organ from the 1980’s.  In planning for the installation, the church removed the fake pipe façade from the front of the church to reveal the original wood grilles on either side of the chancel.   The Swell and Pedal division speakers are in the left chamber and the Choir division speakers are in the right chamber. The Great speakers are on either side of the cross, directly above the banners, creating the effect of the Great division speaking from the center of the room. Antiphonal speakers in the balcony provide both musical effect and support for hymn singing from the back of the church.  Our Redeemer’s digital keyboard is connected to the organ’s Line In, allowing the keyboard to sound through the organ speakers, to a much-improved musical effect over connecting the keyboard to the P.A. system.

As part of the installation and voicing, Peggy Bartunek of Rodgers Classic Organs provided in-service to the musicians and participated in the organ’s first use at the two Sunday services.  Following the service she demonstrated the organ to members of the congregation.

John Quie, organ committee chairperson wrote:

If only all purchases in life could be as smooth as the organ purchase for Our Redeemer’s Lutheran!  Peggy was my contact person when the church council gave the green light for the purchase of a new organ.  She was in touch with me frequently and had answers to the questions of the committee.  She set aside many hours to Face Time with the committee as we discussed the needs of our church.  Her input as to where to place the organ as well as to the correct speaker configuration for our sanctuary was most valuable.  She coordinated all facets of the organ installation from start to finish.  Once she was in town to complete the installation she spent numerous hours training our musicians and that lessened their concerns about playing this beautiful new instrument.  And did I mention the bundle of energy Peggy Bartunek is?  Her enthusiasm certainly rubbed off on all people who were in contact with her.  We were blessed with the right person to help us fulfill this goal of purchasing a new organ.  The sound that now fills the sanctuary is simply stunning!  Thank you, Peggy for all your assistance.  We appreciate you.

After the installation and in-service, organist Celeste Lundblom, organist wrote: "Thank you  Peggy .  I feel like I went on a retreat this weekend.  You are Such a good teacher and you are so inspiring to be around…in all areas of life, not just music."

Below, watch Celeste Lundblom and Peggy Bartunek from Rodgers Classic Organs perform "Here I Am, Lord" in a piano/organ duet at the beautiful Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Rodgers kindly thanks John Quie, Celeste Lundblom, and the committee of Redeemer Lutheran Church for their confidence in Rodgers and Rodgers' dealers.
