Chicago Welcomes Pope Leo XIV: Faith, Music, and 30,000 Worshippers”

Rodgers Organs was honored to be selected by the Archdiocese of Chicago to provide the organ for Saturday’s special Mass at Rate Field, home of the Chicago White Sox as the faithful gathered to welcome Pope Leo XIV for his first public address in America.
Rodgers has a proud tradition of supporting major liturgical events in Chicago, including the 1979 Papal Mass and the Field of Faith Millennium Mass in 2000, famously remembered for Cardinal George’s humor as rain drenched thousands of worshipers:
“The most effective sprinkling rite in the history of the Catholic Church.”
On Saturday, more than 30,000 people gathered for a powerful celebration of faith, music, and history, with Rodgers once again providing the soundtrack.
