Rodgers Instruments is proud to announce the completion of a truly unique Rodgers Custom Infinity 489, thoughtfully designed to reflect the vision, musical goals, and architectural character of its future home at St. Francis Church.

Built in the French tradition of terraced organ consoles, this extraordinary instrument demonstrates the artistry and collaboration that define every Rodgers custom organ project. Its stately mahogany shell is complemented by elegant pomelle mahogany inlays, Birdseye maple terraces, handcrafted American walnut drawknobs, and a custom music rack crafted from mahogany with Birdseye maple and walnut trim. Mahogany key cheeks accented with maple and walnut, premium keyboards featuring UHT bone-colored naturals with American walnut sharps, and thoughtfully selected finishes complete a console that is both visually striking and musically inspiring.
Designed with 98 speaking stops, this custom instrument was created to meet the unique musical needs of St. Francis Church. To further personalize the organ, the customer selected a custom set of default samples and custom engravings, creating an instrument that is truly one of a kind.
At the heart of this Rodgers Custom Infinity is a specially designed control system that seamlessly integrates the instrument's full capabilities within its unique console layout. The result is an elegant balance of timeless craftsmanship and advanced technology, providing an intuitive playing experience while preserving the beauty and character of a traditional terraced console.
Complementing the console is a carefully engineered 44-channel Rodgers audio system, featuring 32 FR1 full-range speakers, 8 SW6 subwoofers, and 4 RC2 speakers. Once installed at St. Francis Church, this custom audio system will deliver exceptional clarity, warmth, and dynamic range, allowing every voice and nuance of the instrument to be experienced throughout the worship space as it was intended.
Every Rodgers Custom organ begins with a conversation. Through close collaboration with churches, musicians, consultants, and builders, Rodgers transforms ideas into instruments thoughtfully tailored to each worship space, musical tradition, and ministry. This Custom Infinity is a testament to that collaborative process, bringing together exceptional craftsmanship, innovative engineering, and a shared vision to create an instrument unlike any other.
For generations, Rodgers has remained committed to building instruments that inspire worship, support music ministry, and enrich the life of the church. We are honored to contribute our craftsmanship and expertise to the musical tradition of St. Francis Church, and we look forward to seeing this remarkable instrument inspire musicians and congregations for generations to come.
As this extraordinary Rodgers Custom Infinity prepares to begin its journey to its new home, we look forward to sharing updates as the installation progresses and this one-of-a-kind instrument finds its voice in its new sanctuary.
