Rodgers to Provide Organs for Historic Fulton J. Sheen Beatification Mass

Rodgers Instruments is honored to be part of a historic celebration of faith and sacred music as thousands gather in St. Louis for the Beatification Mass of Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.

In partnership with Chapel Music, Rodgers instruments have been selected to support the Beatification Mass on September 24, 2026, at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

A flagship three-manual Rodgers Infinity 367 will serve the main liturgy, played by concert organist Monty Bennett. A Rodgers American Series 342, paired with a custom five-channel external audio system, will also support the choir rehearsal space.

The celebration is expected to bring nearly 45,000 pilgrims from 48 states and 12 countries to St. Louis. Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, will preside at the Mass as the representative of Pope Leo XIV.

The occasion marks a significant moment in the history of the Catholic Church in the United States. Archbishop Sheen became one of the most recognizable Catholic voices of the twentieth century through his preaching, writing, radio broadcasts and television ministry. Following his beatification, he will receive the title of Blessed.

For Rodgers, the opportunity to support sacred music at such a significant celebration reflects the role the organ continues to hold in bringing communities together through worship.

Following the Beatification Mass, the Infinity 367 will begin another chapter in its musical journey. The instrument will travel to its permanent home at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in South Carolina, where Bennett serves as Director of Sacred Music and Principal Organist.
