Celebrating Dan Miller’s Legacy

On Dec. 31, 2025, Dan Miller retired from Rodgers Instruments. His illustrious career was shaped by music, generosity, and thoughtful leadership.

Throughout his years as a performer, educator, and musical voice within the Rodgers community, Dan brought clarity and care to everything he touched. His musicianship has inspired audiences around the world, while his work as a teacher and mentor guided countless organists with patience and insight. He has always understood the organ not only as an instrument, but as a living part of worship, performance, and community life.

At Rodgers, Dan’s influence extended well beyond the console. His deep musical understanding helped shape the sound and direction of our instruments, ensuring they served musicians faithfully and musically. He approached his work with quiet confidence, a steady ear, and an unwavering respect for tradition balanced with thoughtful innovation.
